Blacktower Names New Group Managing Director

The firm has expanded its global footprint in recent months, adding licensed companies in Cyprus and Grand Cayman.
Blacktower Financial Management Group, advising clients on $2
billion of assets, has appointed Gavin Pluck as group managing
director.
Pluck joined the firm in February 2021, to help expand its
licensing footprint into regulated jurisdictions, including
Switzerland and the UAE.
As a founding member of the GWM (Guardian Wealth Management)
group of companies, Pluck has over 18 years of industry
experience. He has been largely responsible for setting up and
growing a number of regulated businesses under the GWM banner
across the UK, the EU, Switzerland, the UAE and the US.
Blacktower’s founder and former group MD, John Westwood, will
become group chairman, overseeing all growth strategies and
acquisition planning.
The business was founded in 1986. In the past 12 months it set up
licensed companies in Grand Cayman and Cyprus.
