Bessemer Trust Names Ex-JP Morgan Man As Head Of Miami Office

Bessemer Trust has named Michael Marquez as managing director and head of the Miami office, reporting to W. David Bunce, managing director and Southeast Region head, the multi-family office said.

Previously, Marquez was managing director at JP Morgan’s Private Bank, after serving as a member of the firm’s merger and acquisition group in New York.

“Michael joins an exceptionally strong 20-member team in Miami, and he will actively seek opportunities to engage with Miami’s diverse client base,” said George Wilcox, managing director and head of business development and client account management.

Founded in 1907, Bessemer Trust is a privately owned wealth management and investment advisory firm that focuses exclusively on high-net-worth families and their foundations and endowments. It oversees more than $50 billion in assets for over 2,000 relationships.
