Bessemer Trust Adds Principal For New York Office

Bessemer Trust, the US wealth management and investment advisory firm, has named S Alexander Haverstick as principal of the New York office.

Haverstick brings 30 years of private wealth experience to the position and was previously the founding partner of Boxwood Strategic Advisors. Before that, he served as president of Morgan Stanley Trust Company and as managing director of Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management. 

In his new role, he is responsible for introducing ultra high net worth families in the mid-Atlantic region to the company's range of investment and wealth management services. He reports directly to Eric Gies, the Northeast region head for business development. 

Bessemer Trust has around $65 billion in assets under management.
