Bessemer Trust has named Kevin Rochford managing director and head of the firm’s Chicago office. He reports to David McNeel, central region head.

Rochford oversees a team of client account managers, business development professionals and administrative personnel, and is responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships in the greater Chicago area.

Previously, he was managing director at Nuveen Investments Wealth Management Services in Chicago. Before that, he spent 13 years with The Northern Trust Company, most recently as chairman and chief executive of the western region, where he oversaw 13 offices in three states.

Bessemer oversees more than $55 billion in assets for approximately 2,000 relationships.
