Bedell Cristin Appoints Partner In Jersey

The law firm, which offers private client and fiduciary services, has boosted its partnership in Jersey.

Bedell Cristin, the Jersey-headquartered law firm, has appointed Nancy Chien as a partner within its international private client team.

Based in Jersey, Chien joined Bedell in 2012 from Ashurst in London and has been involved in the firm's expansion into Asian markets. She is qualified as an advocate in Jersey, a solicitor in England and Wales, a barrister in New Zealand and most recently a solicitor in the British Virgin Islands.

She is a founding committee member of the Jersey Pensions Association and has also represented the legal industry on a government-led pensions working group, helping to shape policy affecting Jersey pensions.

“Her international knowledge of the pensions market is recognised both within the firm and in the wider industry and, as well as being at the cutting edge of legal and industry developments, she shares the firm’s uncompromising commitment to premium client care,” said Edward Bennett, partner and head of the firm's international private client team.

Bedell Cristin, which offers private client services, including wills and estate planning and philanthropy advice, has offices in Jersey, Guernsey, London, Mauritius, BVI and Singapore.
