Bear Stearns Private Client Services has hired Don Donnally and David Greenman. Both join from Smith Barney, where Mr Donnally has been since 1968 and Mr Greenman since 1992. They will be managing directors and based in the firm’s Dallas office. According to a statement from the firm, Mr Donnally and Mr Greenman have brought more than $750 million in client assets to Bear Stearns. Bear Stearns is currently beefing up its private client business throughout the US. The firm plans to boost its private client services division by as much as 40 per cent to 650-700 from 500 brokers in the next few years.
