Rutherford Asset Planning, the independent fee-only wealth management firm, has opened its doors in Tampa, FL.

Keith Amburgey, who has been at the firm since 2009, has relocated from New York to head up the new office. He joined the firm after working for 16 years within Morgan Stanley’s institutional securities division.

Besides Tampa, Rutherford Asset Planning has offices in New York City and Naples, FL.

The firm serves affluent individuals and their families and enterprises. It currently serves about 50 clients with portfolios ranging from $1 million to $20 million.
