UK online execution-only stockbroker Barclays Stockbrokers has launched a new funds offering for investors featuring an expanded funds range offered in collaboration with Fidelity FundsNetwork.

Barclays Stockbrokers clients will have access to its stockbroking service and to 2,000 funds, rising to nearly 3,000 funds during March. There are no initial charges, no dealing commissions and no account charges when clients are fully invested in the Barclays Stockbrokers Funds Market.

Investors will also have access to research and factsheets including a consensus list of top funds, with views from independent experts.

Barclays Stockbrokers will continue to run and manage its own website and client accounts, with FundsNetwork providing the funds administration and servicing platform.

Over time, while continuing to be an execution-only business, the Barclays Stockbrokers platform will look to expand the range of investor tools and research offered to clients and will collaborate with FundsNetwork to support this where appropriate.
