Banque Cantonale De Genéve Names New Chairman

The former chairman of the governing board at Swiss National Bank Jean-Pierre Roth is moving into the private sector and has been named as the next chairman of the board of directors of Banque Cantonale de Genéve.

In this capacity he is to succeed Michel Mattacchini, when the latter steps down on the 30 June.

Mr Roth has worked at the Swiss National Bank since 1979; he became vice chairman of the board of directors in 1996 and chairman in 2001.
