Bank of Singapore has appointed former senior LGT figure Jibu George as its compliance head in the DIFC branch, Dubai.
The appointment took effect from yesterday, BoS said in a

In his new role at BoE, George is a member of the DIFC management

crime) and Samuel Huen (global head of legal and regulatory
compliance) for financial crime compliance and regulatory
compliance, respectively. He will also report to Ranjit Khanna
who is head of private banking for Europe & Middle-East and chief
executive, DIFC branch.
“The UAE and the Middle East region have been important to Bank
of Singapore’s strategic growth and will remain so as we continue
to strengthen our global footprint,” Khanna, said. “To enhance
our proposition for clients in this region, we continually invest
significantly in hiring talent and enhancing technology and
infrastructure. Jibu’s appointment, one of many strategic
appointments across the bank’s three hubs, ensures that we
continue to on-board strong leadership and governance on the
ground.”
