Bank Of China Holds Runs Through Investment Universe As 2013 Gets Under Way

Bank of China (Hong Kong) held an investment outlook seminar this week at the Shangri-la hotel in Kowloon, bringing together major asset management houses to discuss challenges and themes for this year.

The event, titled 2013 Investment Spotlights, took place in Cantonese and attracted over 600 people, including BOCHK clients and investment specialists. Head of investment products specialists at the bank, Neville Ko, kicked of the seminar with the first theme – 2012 Global Economy & Foreign Exchange Perspectives.

Fidelity Worldwide Investment’s head of sales intermediary business and First State Investment (Hong Kong)’s director of retail funds distribution, Priscilla Leung and Alex Tam respectively, held the second discussion, Tracking the trend of Equities & Bonds of the Mainland and Asia. The day ended with the topic of Investment strategy of High Yield and Commodities Market, a talk held by head of retail distribution at Allianz Global Investors, Jenny Yu, and vice president of Hong Kong intermediary business development at Schroder Investment Management, Kylie Tsang.
