Baird Continues US Expansion, Hires Credit Suisse Team For San Francisco

Baird, the international private wealth manager, has added two veteran financial advisors from Credit Suisse Private Banking to its growing San Francisco team.

Effective immediately, Alexander Cushner begins as managing director, while Russell Huebschle is now vice president. They are joined by David Caillier as registered client relationship specialist and Georgiana Andersen as registered client relationship associate.

Cushner is said to have produced $2.6 million in revenue in 2010 and has $300 million in client assets. Huebschle generated $1.4 million in revenue and oversees $140 million in AuM.

"As we continue to grow our presence in San Francisco and the Bay Area, adding these wealth professionals will enable us to extend our reach to serve more high net worth families and individuals," commented Bill Welsh, the branch manager of the San Francisco branch.

All four are from Credit Suisse. Alexander Cushner was a director based in San Francisco, Russell Huebschle used to be a relationship manager, while David Caillier and Georgiana Andersen served as investment professionals. The latest appointments bring the firm's wealth management hiring total to nine since March 2011 and to more than 200 since early 2009.

Baird also noted that it is set to open or has already opened new wealth management offices in Iowa, Texas, South Carolina, Denver, California, Virginia, North Carolina and Oregon. It has $89 billion in assets under management.
