BNY Mellon has strengthened its Hong Kong operations with a new relationship management hire.

Fred DiCocco joins the company as head of sales and relationship management, treasury services, for Asia-Pacific. DiCocco became part of BNY Mellon in 1998 and has held a number of senior roles in trade and payments since relocating to Hong Kong in 2006. His most recent role was as treasury services Asia-Pacific market manager.

In his new capacity, which takes effect 1 December 2012, he continues to be based in Hong Kong, reporting to Alan Verschoyle-King, the global head for sales and client management, treasury services, at BNY Mellon. He will also be part of the executive committee.

Treasury services is one of BNY Mellon's core businesses, which it hopes to expand further in the region in the coming years.
