Atlantic Trust, the private wealth management division of New York-listed Invesco, has added Jennifer Kane to its Houston, TX, office as a senior vice president and relationship manager. 

Kane has over 12 years of industry experience and joins from Front Barnett Associates, where she served as a lead portfolio manager and member of the firm’s investment committee.

Previously, she was a junior portfolio manager and portfolio analyst at Atlantic Trust's Chicago, IL, office, and a portfolio analyst with Fayez Sarofim & Company in Houston.

Atlantic Trust launched its Houston branch in 2003 and the office is now home to ten relationship and portfolio management, client service, wealth strategies and business development professionals. 

Jack Markwalter, chairman and chief executive of Atlantic Trust, said Texas is “an important market where we have a substantial client base and are continuing to grow.” Highlighting this, Catherine Schnaubelt was brought into the Houston office less than a month ago as a senior vice president and senior wealth strategist.

Meanwhile, earlier in April it emerged that CIBC has entered into an agreement to buy Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management from Invesco for $210 million, marking a push by the Canadian firm into the US private wealth management market. The deal is expected to close in the second half of this year.
