Atlantic Trust, the private wealth management arm of New York-listed Invesco, has appointed Luke Davis as a vice president and relationship manager in New York.

"New York is an important market for us, and we are committed to actively building our brand and expanding our presence here," said Eric Propper, president, chief operating officer and head of the New York office.

Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, Davis was a vice president and client advisor at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, where he advised high net worth families, foundations and family offices.

Atlantic Trust said the New York office is its second largest - home to 30 client service and business development professionals. At 30 September, the office had over $4 billion in assets under management, having grown by 12.5 per cent over the past year.

Atlantic Trust is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, with $19.9 billion in assets under management as of September 30, 2012.
