SignatureFD, the Atlanta, GA-based RIA, has appointed John O’Donnell - latterly of Fidelity Investments - as a principal.

As a senior client relationship manager, O’Donnell will focus on guiding clients through all stages of wealth, including the design and execution of wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer strategies, the firm said. 

Prior to joining SignatureFD, O’Donnell was a vice president within Fidelity Investments’ private client group, where he managed a large practice dedicated to serving the firm’s largest high net worth individuals, corporate executives and business owners.

In related news, at the end of August the firm appointed Jim Tally as a partner and senior relationship manager. He joined from US Trust, the ultra high net worth wealth business of Bank of America, where he was a senior vice president and private client advisor.

SignatureFD was founded in 1997 and has over $1 billion in assets under management, according to its website. It employs 27 people.
