Ascot Lloyd Launches Advisor Platform

Ascot Lloyd is to leverage SS&C technology to deliver a new advisor platform. The platform will deliver in four key areas: competitive pricing, customer service excellence, client and adviser-centric functionality, and usability.

Ascot Lloyd, a UK independently owned IFA firm, has partnered with US-based SS&C Technologies this week to launch its Ascot Lloyd Platform.

SS&C, a global provider of investment, financial and healthcare software-enabled services and software, said it will deliver an end-to-end digital solution that improves access to financial planning.

The new offering provides clients with a digital platform that has been designed with client and advisor functionality and usability at its core, the firm said in a statement. It is designed to bring together the best features of retail platforms, delivering a user experience for clients and advisors that presents a consolidated, real-time view of their account holdings, key information and latest documentation, the firm continued.

The platform offers clients the opportunity to consolidate their assets with a full suite of tax-efficient wrappers in one location, whilst enhancing the ability of advisors to efficiently manage client investment portfolios, the firm added. Benefiting from efficient, fully-digital onboarding and competitive, transparent pricing, the platform will streamline the management of portfolios to provide a range of financial planning tools and investment options for advisors and their clients.

Steven Lloyd, investment director at Ascot Lloyd, said, “Our move into the market sits firmly as part of Ascot Lloyd’s ongoing digitalisation strategy, making financial planning more accessible and easier to navigate for clients.

“Our platform has been built with four simple principles in mind: competitive pricing, customer service excellence, client functionality and usability. We are confident that our proposition delivers in each of these areas beyond the market norm. Combining our in-house service team with SS&C’s technological infrastructure will provide clients with a paperless solution by default, fit for the times,” he continued.

Damien Barry, head of global investor and distribution solutions, EMEA at SS&C, added: “This initiative is an exciting development for our team and further demonstrates the benefits of our strategic investment in SS&C’s wealth management proposition.”

Ascot Lloyd is building a dedicated in-house team to ensure a smooth client experience and external service teams to support their advisor community.
