Another Firm Joins Nucleus

Nucleus, the IFA-owned and controlled wrap platform, has added Pilot Financial Planning to its network – its twenty-first firm to join this year.

Devon-based Pilot was founded by Ian Thomas, previously marketing director and founder of the AXA Elevate wrap platform and a former executive at JP Morgan, Fidelity Investments and Skandia before moving over to the IFA industry.

Back in September Nucleus bolstered its operations team with two appointments in a bid to cope with the network’s growth.

Richard Allen joined from Standard Life as product manager – a role in which he is part of the team that makes sure that the platform runs smoothly.

Phillip Graham, latterly a developer at Scotweb, the online business directory, joined as operational support engineer. He is part of the technical team responsible for developing and supporting the technical aspects of the platform.

Nucleus, which was launched five years ago, now has 90 member firms.
