Aliiance Trust Replaces Equities Head
Alliance Trust head of equities Ilario di Bon has stepped down in order to pursue other opportunities and is being replaced by Peter Michaelis.

Trust's head of equities Ilario di Bon has stepped down in
order to pursue other opportunities and is being replaced by
Peter Michaelis.
Michaelis will lead the equity investment team under the
direction of chief executive Katherine Garrett-Cox.
“These changes will enable us to capitalise on the long track
record and experience of the whole team. They will also allow us
to promote an integrated and responsible investment strategy
which we believe is a necessity, and no longer a choice, in
today’s world,” Garrett-Cox said.
“Our thematic investment approach remains unchanged and we are
committed to delivering capital growth and a consistently rising
dividend from our diversified portfolio of global equities and
fixed income investments.”
Michaelis joined Alliance Trust in August 2012 and moves from his
post as head of sustainable and responsible investment.
