Alexander Forbes Offshore, the independent financial advisor firm that is part of the Alexander Forbes International Group, has hired Richard Buchanan as operations director, based in Jersey. He joins from Alpha Bank, where he was managing director.

Buchanan has previously worked at Raiffeisen Bank International, Abbey International and Royal Bank of Scotland.

“We are currently experiencing a time of change and growth. The appointment of Richard to Alexander Forbes is a significant step in our expansion and progress. We are planning a number of major product launches this year and Richard’s experience will be invaluable in helping us bring these to market,” said Niall Doran, managing director at the firm.
