ANZ Creates Bancassurance, Client Experience Role Within Wealth Arm

Australia and New Zealand Bank, one of Australia's Big Four banks, has created a new senior position within its wealth management arm.

Effective 2 December 2013, Kerri Thompson takes the role of managing director for bancassurance and customer experience at ANZ Wealth, reporting to ANZ Global Wealth chief executive Joyce Phillips. The position is based in Sydney.

Thompson has over 30 years of financial services experience in Australia, New Zealand and the US and has served as managing director for retail at ANZ New Zealand since March 2010. Prior to that, she was a senior executive at General Electric and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.  

Her replacement will be announced in due course.
