AMP Shuffles Senior Management Roles After CIO Departs
Asia-Pacific domiciled investment manager reorganises senior positions following the departure of its chief investment officer.
AMP Capital, the Australian investment management firm, has changed its senior management structure following the departure of its chief investment officer.
David Kiddie is leaving his post to join his family in the UK, although he may still remain in a different capacity, the firm said in a statement.
The CIO role will then be split between Sean Henaghan, head of multi-manager and investment solutions, and Mark Beardow, head of fixed income. Henaghan will be responsible for the diversified funds range, strategy and economic insights, as well as the client portfolio management business, while Beardow will take care of the specialist investment teams, fixed income, fundamental equities and multi-strategy global investment management teams.
They report to Stephen Dunne, chief executive, starting 1 January 2014.
AMP Capital is one the largest Asia-Pacific domiciled investment managers, recording some A$130 billion ($115 billion) in funds under management as at 31 March 2013.
