AIG Looks at Israeli Asset Management Market

US-based global insurer, AIG is looking at the Israeli asset management market, its chief executive Martin Sullivan has said at a Tel Aviv press conference. "We would consider looking at asset management in Israel. We are here in meetings to figure out what new business opportunities may present themselves," he said. AIG Israel has been in existence for 10 years and sells principally house and car insurance. The local asset management market has become competitive in the past two years with the government-forced sale of banks’ mutual fund businesses.
