ABN AMRO Announces Senior Hire In Hong Kong

ABN AMRO Private Banking has hired Vienne Cheng as head of wealth structuring and estate planning in Hong Kong.

Cheng brings nearly 20 years of private banking and wealth management experience into the company. She was most recently the vice president for trust and fiduciary services at Bank Sarasin. Prior to that, she worked for Hang Seng Bank Trustee, BNP Paribas & HSBC International Trustee.

The wealth structuring and estate planning unit was recently renamed from international estate planning. In her new role, Cheng will be responsible for growing the bank's wealth structuring and estate planning operations in the region. She reports to Angel Wu, the regional head for products and solutions.

The appointment is the latest among the series of hires ABN Amro Hong Kong has had over the past months. In early September, the bank named private banker Mark Chan as market manager for its China International unit in Hong Kong.
