LaSalle Investment Management Names New Managing Director

LaSalle Investment Management, the Chicago-based real estate investment manager, has appointed Andy Watson as managing director for Continental Europe.

Watson has been a member of LaSalle's senior management team in Continental Europe since he joined the firm in 2004. In January 2010, he was appointed head of core funds for Continental Europe and was promoted to president of LaSalle France in November 2011. He is also a member of the LaSalle European Management Board and SFS (Europe).

In his new role, Watson will be responsible for LaSalle's business development and progressing growth initiatives across the region, while continuing the recent  momentum LaSalle has gained in driving synergies across its European platform. In addition, he will manage LaSalle’s activities across Continental Europe, including oversight of the rapidly-evolving German business.

Watson, with 23 years of real estate experience in Continental Europe, having worked in Berlin, Frankfurt and Paris, will continue to report to Simon Marrison, chief executive of LaSalle Investment Management, Europe.
