French investment firm Carmignac Gestion has appointed Matthew Williams as a financial analyst to its fund management team.

Prior to this appointment Mr Williams was a sector leader for MFS International UK, where he co-managed EAFE Financial Services while also covering the global mining and minerals sectors.

Carmignac Gestion markets funds in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. The company has had a subsidiary in Luxembourg since 1999, and opened two representative offices in Madrid and Milan in 2008.
