Washington Trust Bank Partners With SEI

Washington Trust Bank has partnered with technology solutions provider SEI to use its wealth management platform.

The SEI Wealth Platform supports front, middle, and back-office processing services and trading and transactions on 105 stock exchanges in 46 countries and 33 currencies, SEI said in a statement.

When the conversion is complete, Washington Trust Bank will have 2,100 accounts and over $3 billion in assets under administration on the platform.

“The platform provides us with a single infrastructure that we know will help us streamline our systems and eliminate many manual data and compliance processes. Furthermore, their superior functionality is going to give us a significant advantage in the front office, which will allow us to strengthen our client relationships,” said Robert Blume, managing director of wealth management and advisory services at Washington Trust Bank.

Washington Trust Bank is headquartered in Spokane, WA and currently has 41 branches and offices in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. A wholly owned subsidiary of WTB Financial Corporation, Washington Trust Bank has assets exceeding $4 billion.
