Quintet’s Belgian Branch Gets More Digital With Abbove
Quintet has the ambition to spread the use of the Abbove platform to their other branches in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Luxembourg.
Abbove, a Belgian digital solution provider for wealth management, is teaming up with Quintet Group’s Belgian branch Puilaetco to provide digital wealth planning services to private banking clients.
At Quintet, the banking group said it is seizing the opportunity to boost its services to six European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and the UK.
At present, more than 25,000 families in Europe use Abbove's platform via their advisors.
Puilaetco's clients will use the technology under the name of “Richer Life Plan”. The bank’s advisors can give clients a global overview of their family's entire assets, as well as create detailed simulations on the evolution of their wealth and the organisation of their inheritance, all of this on a digital and 24/7 accessible platform.
“At Abbove, we develop a technology that helps financial institutions throughout the entire cycle of offering holistic wealth management services: from fully understanding a client’s global situation to delivering the best solutions based on his personal needs and guaranteeing a digital and interactive client experience,” Guillaume Desclée, CEO and co-founder of Abbove, said.
“Not only our solution as such, but also our ambition to make our platform available internationally found a match with Quintet who have the will to spread the solution across their network in Europe after this first deployment in Belgium”, Desclée added.
Quintet Private Bank (Europe), which was founded in 1949, is headquartered in Luxembourg and operates in 50 cities across Europe. Its family of private banks includes Brown Shipley (UK); InsingerGilissen (Netherlands); Merck Finck (Germany); Puilaetco (Belgium); Quintet Danmark (Denmark), and Quintet Luxembourg (Luxembourg).
