Carmignac Group Promotes Three

Carmignac Group has made a number of promotions in its European and emerging markets teams.

emerging markets teams.
Vincent Steenman has been appointed to the newly-created role of
global research coordinator. He joins from Zadig Asset Management
where he was in charge of the capital goods sector at Carmignac.
Before this, he was a partner at Zadig Asset Management and an
analyst at LVMH-Groupe Arnault Family Office.
Edward Cole has been appointed to co-manager of the Carmignac
Emerging Patrimoine fund. He will co-manage the equity component
of the fund alongside Simon Pickard and Charles Zerah, who will
remain managers of the fixed income component. Previously an
analyst on EMEA at Carmignac ,Cole has seven years' fund
management experience co-managing emerging markets long-only and
hedge funds at Ashmore Group and Finisterre Capital, and seven
years as an EMEA equity strategist, notably at JP Morgan
Securities.
Malte Heininger has now become sole portfolio manager of the
Carmignac Euro Entrepreneurs fund, which he has co-managed with
Muhammed Yesilhark since 6 January 2014, when they both joined
Carmignac.
Before joining Carmignac, Heininger worked for four years at SAC
Global Investors’ London office, where he was a member of
Muhammed Yesilhark’s team, managing a large European equity
portfolio, and was a former investment banker at Morgan
Stanley.
