BMO Adds Duo To Chicago Office

BMO Global Asset Management has added Christopher Keenan as senior securities lender/trader and Katherine DellaMaria as portfolio manager to its securities lending and short duration fixed income groups. Both are based in the Canadian firm’s Chicago, IL, office.

With more than 10 years of industry experience, Keenan will be responsible for the control and coordination of the securities lending trading desk and trading/lending within client portfolios. He has previously served as a senior international equities trader, fixed income trader and senior investment risk analyst at other firms.

In her new role, DellaMaria will provide analytical and liquidity support for mutual funds and separately managed strategies. She most recently served as a fixed income product specialist for BMO Global Asset Management's long-term bond manager Taplin, Canida and Habacht.

As part of the securities lending team, both will focus on managing risk - particularly by mitigating exposure to borrower default and collateral investment risks. This includes the use of intrinsic value and general collateral lending, when managing client portfolios.

BMO Global Asset Management is a global investment manager with more than 129 billion in assets under management, as of July 31, 2013.
