Australian Group Launches New Wealth Management Platform

Australian investment group Opes Prime has launched a new platform offering securities lending and equities financing across major global stock exchanges, with transactions to be conducted in all major currencies. The Opes Wealth Platform is aimed at sophisticated investors who want the option of having a choice of stockbrokers and having access to global markets themselves. "We felt it was vital that the wealth platform could be accessed without restrictions such as having to execute through Opes Prime, as we wanted an investor and advisor friendly platform," said the firm's head of sales and marketing Mark Rice.
