International law firm Ogier has strengthened its Cayman law practice group with the appointment of Gordon Howorth and Daniel Smith to its London office. Mr Howorth has experience working within international and offshore investment, including hedge fund, private equity and cross-border structures, across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. Mr Smith, an Australian solicitor and barrister, joins from Finlaysons Lawyers in Adelaide. Specialising in investment funds, finance and corporate law, he has experience in the structuring of Cayman investment funds, acting for both borrowers and lenders in corporate and institutional finance transactions.
