Julius Baer Upgrades Singapore Operation to Regional Hub

Swiss wealth manager Bank Julius Baer is upgrading its Singapore wholesale branch into its South East Asian hub. As part of the move, the bank's Singapore business will be transferred from Bank Julius Baer (Singapore) Ltd to Bank Julius Baer & Co Ltd Singapore Branch from this week. The bank's South East Asian private banking chief executive, Wilfried Kofmehl, described the upgrade as a "major milestone for the bank." Julius Baer was established in Singapore in 2003. The bank also has regional offices in Hong Kong, Dubai and Tokyo.
