UK-listed investment and wealth management firm Rathbones will not move from the Port of Liverpool Building at the Pier Head in Liverpool. Rathbones has negotiated a rent-free period as major, noisy, construction work in the building takes place. The company will also take on a further 10,000 sq ft of space in the building a deal that will last until 2018, according to local media reports. Paul Chavasse, chief operating officer of Rathbones, said: "Liverpool remains an important location for us. "We are pleased to be able to continue to occupy such an important landmark building and indeed to be able to take more space in it for our expanding operations." Rathbones also has offices in London, Cambridge and Bristol.
