US Investment Manager Appoints CIO

US investment manager Trainer Wortham & Company have announced that Robert Bloom has been appointed chief investment officer. The firm was founded in 1924 and has offices in New York, Honolulu, San Francisco, Oakland, and Palo Alto. Trainer Wortham's clients include individuals, families, foundations, endowments and other institutional investors. It has $5 billion in assets under management and is a wholly owned subsidiary of First Republic Bank. Prior to joining Trainer Wortham, Mr Bloom worked for Berg Capital as chief investment officer and for LF Kapital's US office as chief executive.
