JPMorgan Launches Three International Funds

JPMorgan Funds, the US mutual fund business of JPMorgan Asset Management, has launched three new international mutual funds: JPMorgan China Region Fund, JPMorgan Latin America Fund and JPMorgan Russia Fund. These are the latest in a number of product launches for JPMorgan Funds. The JPMorgan International Realty Fund was launched in November 2006 and the firm plans to launch more international funds in the coming months. JPMorgan China Region Fund will be managed by Howard Wang, Shumin Huang, Emerson Yip, Patrick Lung and Peter Tang in Hong Kong. JPMorgan Latin America Fund will be managed by Luis Carrillo and Sophie Bosch in New York and Sebastian Luparia in Buenos Aires. JPMorgan Russia Fund will be managed by Oleg Biryulyov in Moscow and Vitaly Kazakov in London. Under normal market conditions each fund will invest at least 80 per cent of the value of its assets in equity securities of companies or instruments in the relevant market.
