UK investment bank Panmure Gordon is in advanced negotiations to buy Think Equity Partners, a US investment bank that also has wealth management and asset management businesses, according to a report in the . Think Equity Partners specialises in telecommunications, media and technology. The deal is thought to be worth about $125 million. Think Equity Partners was founded in 2001 in San Francisco, and focuses on high-growth sectors. Its clients are mainly institutional investors and companies.
