National City Bags Ex-Merrill Executive for Private Client Group

Craig Hurwitz has joined Cleveland-based National City as senior vice president and market executive for its Private Client Group. Mr Hurwitz most recently served as a senior portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch. He will be responsible for growing the trust, private banking and investment management business for the group, which serves high net worth individuals in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. He replaces Leslie Hale, who will head the bank's Private Client Group in Louisville. National City operates in eight US states, including Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
