Brooks Macdonald Funds Appoints Head Of Sales

, the fund management arm of Brooks Macdonald Group, has appointed Kevin Addison as head of sales.

Based in London, Addison will be responsible for driving growth in funds under management across BMF’s range of funds, as well as management of the UK sales team and broker desk, Brooks Macdonald said in a statement.

Addison joins from SEI Investments, where he was a managing director and head of UK and European asset management distribution and responsible for developing their UK and European wholesale distribution business.

Before this, he worked for Scottish Widows Investment Partnership in a number of roles, including head of wholesale distribution.

“Kevin has extensive experience in developing relationships with professional advisers and discretionary fund managers in the UK and has a proven track record in managing successful business development teams. Kevin’s appointment further reinforces the strength of our fund management proposition and his wealth of knowledge and contacts will add tremendous value to BMF,” said chief executive of BMF Simon Wombwell.
