Witan Investment Trust Makes New Marketing Director Hire

has hired Hannah Philp as its new director of marketing.

Philp will join the team at Witan later in the year from Edison Group. She replaces James Frost who left Witan earlier this year to join BlackRock’s investment trust marketing team.

“We are delighted that Hannah will be joining us this autumn. Given recent changes in the UK savings market, Witan is placing increased emphasis on communicating its investment objectives and results as effectively as possible to shareholders and potential investors," said Andrew Bell, chief executive officer of Witan Investment Trust.

“This makes it easier for investors to decide how Witan fits in with their own investment objectives. Hannah’s work with investment trust clients and experience in working with the wealth manager and adviser sectors will strengthen our efforts in meeting this aim.”
