Filling a position left vacant last August as the firm has worked through a rebranding exercise, Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management announced today it has appointed Sasha Dabliz as head of marketing and communications, effective immediately.

Based in London, she will report to chief executive David Esfandi, who himself was appointed to the post in March this year, coming across from Ashcourt Rowan, another wealth manager.

WealthBriefing asked CGWM whether Dabliz’s role was newly created or not; a spokesperson said she is taking up a similar role to that left vacant last August by Oliver Tregonning, who now heads up the marketing business at JM Finn & Co.

Dabliz previously worked at UK-listed Schroders where she worked on the integration of Cazenove Capital and Schroders Private Banking.  She has held positions at firms such as Brewin Dolphin and Killik & Co.  She also previously ran her own consulting business.
