London-based investment firm has launched a Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV mirror version of its £680 million($305.7 million) Global Equity Income fund.
The Henderson Horizon Global Equity Income fund will be managed by Alex Crooke, head of global equity income, working alongside Andrew Jones and Ben Lofthouse, Henderson said in a statement.
The fund will be available in Euro and US dollar share classes and will invest primarily in equities throughout the world, typically holding between 50 to 80 holdings.
“With interest rates at rock bottom levels on an international scale, never has there been a greater demand for income from our client base. In recent years, the equity market has become an increasingly important hunting ground for yield. We don’t see this trend abating,” said Greg Jones head of EMEA retail and Latin America.
