, the funds servicing specialist, has appointed Chris Edge to head its business in Luxembourg to help drive the firm’s international expansion.
Edge previously spent 20 years at JP Morgan, covering a wide variety of senior roles for the bank across the UK, South Africa and Luxembourg during two stints, in between which he built a financial service distribution business in the UK and a mobile transactions business in East Africa.
“I am delighted to welcome Chris to Allfunds at a time when we are extending our European operations. We are strongly committed with Luxembourg, as one of the most important financial centres at the heart of Europe, is a natural and logical evolution as Allfunds becomes ever more successful in following and supporting our clients and providers in their international expansion,” said Allfunds Bank’s chief executive Juan Alcaraz.
Last month, Allfunds appointed Anna Graziano as head of operations and proposition to help drive expansion in the UK and Ireland. She is the “fourth and final hire” into a new management team headed by Stephen Mohan at Allfunds Bank’s UK and Irish business.
Created in 2000 and owned in equal parts by the Santander and Intesa Sanpaolo groups, Allfunds Bank has more than €121 billion ($167 billion) assets under administration and offers close to 40,000 funds from 450 fund managers.
