SBKG & associés, the French law firm, has appointed Damien Billet to its Marseille office, where he will develop a team working in areas including personal tax issues.
He will develop the tax practice in Marseille, in close collaboration with the Paris team lead by Philippe Schmidt, according to a statement from the firm.
The team in Marseille has around 10 lawyers now led by four partners who each practice in complementary areas of expertise: Clarisse Bainvel in public and real estate law, Séverine Elie in commercial and corporate law, Bertrand de Haut de Sigy in litigation and business criminal law, and now Billet in tax law.
Damien, as well as the other partners in the Marseille office, works with both French and international clients. He advises corporations and their managers on corporate and personal tax issues. He also advises investment funds as well as companies regarding capital investment operations.
Billet, a member of the Marseille Bar, began his career at Stehlin & Associés where he practiced law until moving to Marseille in 2012.
SBKG & associés is an independent law firm with over 30 lawyers based in Paris, Marseille and London.
