Clay Rogers and Partners, a financial planning firm in the
UK Midlands region, has joined the financial planning organisation . The acquisition comes at a time when Birmingham-based Succession
has almost doubled its funds under management to £450 million ($737 million) through several acquisitions
and referrals over the past five years. “We are seeking companies that want to continue to grow
value rather than exit the industry, as we all work together in true
partnership to capitalise the group at the end of 2017,” added Simon
Chamberlain, chief executive of Succession. Through the deal, Clay Rogers’ 30-strong employee force will
share insight with Succession’s 60 member firms on its open architecture platform. Succession Advisory Services is a UK specialist consolidation and
capital creation vehicle for wealth management firms, with £1.5 billion of invested
client funds as at 2 October 2013.
