Quilter Cheviot Bolsters Edinburgh Office With Senior Hire

The Edinburgh-headquartered investment management company,
, has added Neil MacPherson as an investment director. In his new role, MacPherson will be advising clients on
their investments, as well as managing portfolios as part of the firm’s senior
investment team. MacPherson joins from Turcan Connell where he was a senior
investment associate. With over thirty years of experience in financial
services, he started his career at Edinburgh Investment Trust as a fund
manager, before moving on to Standard Life where he worked on overseas markets.
MacPherson later served with Life Association of Scotland Investment Management
and in various roles at Brewin Dolphin and Edward Jones. Quilter Cheviot is an independent discretionary investment
firm, with thirteen locations across the UK,
Jersey and Ireland.
As at 1 November 2013, the firm had £15 billion ($24.6 billion) in total assets
under management.
