Bayazit, with more than thirty years of experience in the banking sector, previously served as chief executive officer in Turkey at a number of banks including, Fortis Bank and Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi. Bayazit is currently an independent board member in Turkish companies: Doğan Holding, Migros and TAV.

In his new role, Bayazit will work with the group in its strategic development, specifically in Turkey, according to a statement from the firm.
