AXA Creates Wealth Management Business Unit

French insurer AXA has created a wealth management business headed up by Mike Kellard, Winterthur Life chief executive officer, in a raft of organisational changes. Mr Kellard will remain chief executive of Winterthur’s high net worth business, while taking charge of AXA’s wealth management side including the individual pension and investment business of AXA Life and its Isle of Man-based international arm. The underlying businesses will retain their separate brands. Mr Kellard will also form a new fund management offering for the independent financial advisor market place and will sit on AXA UK’s executive committee.
