has confirmed that UK equities
product directors William Deer and Mitchell Fraser-Jones have both decided to
leave the company to "pursue other opportunities". The departures follow the announcement
last month that head of UK
equities Neil Woodford would leave next April to
start up his own fund management group. Deer began his
investment career in 1998 and previously worked for HSBC and ABN Amro as an
equity analyst and Pan European equity salesman, before joining Invesco in 2006. Mitchell began
his investment career in 1995 with Singer & Friedlander Portfolio
Management, working in a variety of roles, including assistant portfolio manager.
He joined Invesco in 2002, initially in the role of senior marketing specialist,
before becoming product director, UK equities.
