Former Goldman Sachs MD Goes To Specialist Credit Asset Manager

managing director Jennifer Drake as head of business development. The firm, founded by David Warren and partners as a 2009
spin-out from Brevan Howard, manages two Brevan Howard credit hedge funds:
the Brevan Howard Credit Catalysts Fund and the Brevan Howard Credit Value
Fund. Drake will make use of her experience in proprietary trading
of credit and derivative instruments, as well as research, asset allocation and
portfolio management experience with global alternative investment
organizations, to communicate with prospective and current investors in funds
DWIM manages, and to broaden business development efforts. She will also join
DWIM’s executive committee and risk committee. At Goldman Sachs, Drake concentrated on credit, event driven and
relative value investments and was a member of the Liquid Markets Investment
Committee for the $120 billion alternative investments and manager selection
group. Earlier in her career, she oversaw similar investments for GAM, the
Swiss-listed firm, and was head analyst and portfolio manager for Nomura
Securities’ proprietary convertible bond portfolios in New York. Drake started her career at
Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions.
